A few tips from past HGers on cheap Zofran and a free Zofran program.

1. Cheap Zofran at Costco:

Dropping in from the 3rd trimester to let you all know that I found out this week Costco has dirt cheap prices on its generic zofran. For a 30 pill/8mg supply it is $44.45, for a 90 pill/8mg supply $108.

I'm sure you've all seen the horrific prices elsewhere (Target quoted me $1100 and Rite Aid is $840, those just for the 30 pill supply), so this will hopefully give some help to those like me who are having to pay for their own.

(Many pharmacies will match prices, too.)

2. Free Zofran program:

I want to update you on a program I found for name-brand Zofran.

GlaxoSmithKline (name-brand Zofran). The program is called Commitment to Access

http://www.commitmenttoaccess.com/

They want to talk to you first, before sending in forms & they're very helpful. 1-866-265-6491

Check to see your eligibility under the first bulletin in the "Getting Started for Patients" section.

If you qualify (are poor enough... Wink ) and get your doctor to be your advocate, they'll cover 2 30-day prescriptions with a $10 copay each. Then, they'll send up to 11 more months of meds to your home for FREE.

Thanks, ladies, for passing on these tips!

Many pharmacies will do a price match for prescriptions, so even the nearest Costco is a long drive, you could get the prescription filled once, then transfer it to a closer pharmacy and get it for the same price there.
