We did it! HG Research Update.

Postby mfejzo » Mar 13, 2010 2:38 pm

Hi all,
We reached 1,000 eligible participants this week! That is a huge milestone. Not everyone has completed all steps so we still need new participants. Email me at nvpstudy@usc.edu to participate or for any questions.
1) If you haven't gone over the forms with me by phone for 5 minutes, please email me to set up an appointment.
2) If you haven't sent/faxed/scan-emailed in your consent form, please do so.
3) If you haven't sent in your medical record of iv treatment, please do so.
4) If you haven't filled out the long online survey, please do so.
5) If you haven't mailed in your saliva kit, please do so.
6) If you haven't referred your friend control, please do so...in fact we are very behind on friend controls-only 371, so if you have extra friend controls HG, please have them email me at nvpstudy@usc.edu.
Thank you for helping me find the biological cause/cure for HG so the next generation won't have to suffer like we did! We are getting closer...

This is AWESOME! I am going to beg some of my co-workers to contact you as friend controls. :D

They have to have had two non-hg pregnancies right?

Also, I don't know if I sent in my IV medical records. I will email you my information to see if I need to send those into you.

Thank you for EVERYTHING you are doing to help!!!

I emailed you too. I am glad to help in any way. But I did not hear from you. Maybe because you are done and I was late =)

Hi. I never got your email for some reason or I would have definitely responded. Please try again at nvpstudy@usc.edu and let me know if you don't get a response in 24 hours.
Thank you!

Can I participate once I am postpartum?

Postby Teekay » Dec 28, 2010 9:50 pm

My baby is close to a year old. [b]I am still vomiting a couple of times each day and very often nauseated.[ /b] It's nothing compared to when I was pregnant-I don't dehydrate.... but it's crazy! Can I participate in this research study? Any ideas for me as well? :?:
